About Our Counselor

Taylor Burdick, MA, LPC

I opened Twelve Stones Counseling because I want to help people change, be restored, and then positively impact others around them. It is an extreme honor to be a counselor and to have a relationship with each person. I’m passionate about counseling because it can be a massive game-changer. There is no such thing as “too far gone,” “damaged goods,” or “incapable.” Counseling gives so much hope in dark places in our lives, and it empowers us to get back on track.

I am a licensed LPC in the state of Colorado. I graduated from a CACREP-accredited program (meaning it’s the nationwide “gold standard” of counselor education) with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. In addition, I have a bachelor’s in psychology with a minor in intercultural ministry. I’m also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is highly effective for crisis and trauma situations.

I grew up in the Denver area and I love Colorado. I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, daughter, and dog, and I am a board game nerd. My love language is coffee, and in my free time I’m usually crafting. I’m pretty straightforward and honest, and a little awkward at times in a good way. I like to get to know people really well and find ways to connect. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to have a free phone consultation.
